Parent ProTech is a platform designed to help families, students, and educators navigate the digital world safely. It offers expert-backed resources, tech guides, and an interactive digital citizenship curriculum to foster responsible online behavior.

Challenges

The Parent ProTech team partnered with Tiksom to enhance maintenance and development efforts. Understanding the domain of such an already-built product posed a significant challenge for our team.

Our team was required to address compatibility issues across multiple devices and browsers, ensuring a seamless experience for all users.

Performance-related bugs needed to be addressed to enhance speed and reliability.

Navigation and accessibility were requested to be improved, making the platform more user-friendly, while the visual design was also needed to align with modern UI/UX trends.

Responsibilities

Tiksom collaborated closely with the Parent ProTech team to understand the platform’s architecture and streamline development. We conducted extensive cross-device and browser testing to resolve compatibility issues, ensuring a seamless user experience.

Performance was optimized by refining the codebase, reducing load times, and enhancing backend processes for stability. Navigation and accessibility were improved with a more intuitive layout, while the UI was modernized to align with contemporary design trends.

These enhancements strengthened the platform’s usability, performance, and visual appeal, reinforcing Parent ProTech’s mission to empower families and educators in the digital world.
